Inspired by surf and beach culture, the property incorporates unique coastal accents with a sophisticated Californian ambiance. Our unique costal beach location comfortably accommodates up to 160 guests for formal sit down event and 200 guests for standing cocktail event.

Ville Sur Mer is located in a residential neighborhood and the city does enforce a 10:00pm noise curfew. We allow acoustic musicians and DJs until 9:30pm. This venue is not just a location but a moment in time that will create long lasting memories for you and your guests.

What is your maximum capacity?

Our unique costal beach location can seat a maximum of 200 guests for a ceremony or at tables for reception.

What does the venue rental fee include?

The venue rental fee includes the use of the garden and patio, 1st floor of the house and guest house (bride getting ready room) during the event.

Can I choose my own vendors?

We encourage you to use our preferred vendors list which can simplify your event logistics. However, you are allowed to bring in any professional vendor of your choice.

Does Ville Sur Mer have any noise restrictions?

Ville Sur Mer is located in a residential neighborhood and the city does enforce a 10:00 pm noise curfew. We allow acoustic musicians and DJs until 9:45pm. 

Do I need a tent for outside?

Tenting is not required, but having one reserved on a rain plan is suggested if using the outdoor space. We have an exclusive tent vendor who will make sure your needs are met.

Can I place a date on hold?

Dates may be placed on hold for 10 days.

How do I book the space?

Once you have toured the space and determined your preferred date is available, we will send you a contract for your event. A 50% deposit is due at booking, with the remaining balance due 2 weeks before your event.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than 6 months before your event, we will charge a $1000 cancellation fee. Any cancellations made between 2 and 6 months before your event will result in us keeping your 50% deposit. Cancellations made less than 1 month before your event will be charged the full rental fee.

What makes us so special?

The house contains the one of the best private surfboard collections in the world. More than 100 collectable surfboards, some unique in the world, are on display along with many one of a kind pieces of surfing’s history. Just walking along all these, on your way to the ocean front terrace, will make you really feel you are in a very special place dedicated to the Pacific Ocean, Surfing, and California culture.
